Samsung to Supply Handset Chips to Qualcomm

Following Samsung's stated intention to strengthen its non-memory chip business, the company announced on November 23 that it has signed an agreement with Qualcomm whereby it will develop and produce chips used in CDMA and WCDMA mobile phones for the US company. Samsung will use 90nm CMOS technology for the chip production. The company did not provide any financial details about the deal.
